Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra Review

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra boasts an 8-inch Super AMOLED display with 16 million colors, and 1440 x 2560 pixels of resolution, making everything look fantastic on the screen. The CPU of this tablet is quite powerful as well, thanks to the Exynos 7580 Octa-core processor, which has four cores at 1.6 GHz and four cores at 1 GB. With that kind of power under the hood, you can rest assured that all your apps will run smoothly without lag or slowdowns, even if you have dozens of apps open at once.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra

Two-minute review

To sum up my thoughts on the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, I would say that it is one of the best Android tablets out there with a sleek and durable design. It also has two storage options which make it perfect for families with different needs in terms of storage space. All in all, this device is a good buy if you need a big screen to view things such as magazines or films. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 is without a doubt the most powerful tablet on the market.

The device is heavy and bulky but it has a display so sharp you can’t even see pixels. The build quality and performance are unmatched for any device in its price range. One drawback of the device, however, is that there’s no way to expand storage space with a microSD card which means many users will have to purchase an expensive cloud subscription or deal with less available storage.

Display and Design

Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra features a 10.5-inch display with a resolution of 2736×1824 pixels, giving the display a 287ppi pixel density.

  1. The Super AMOLED panel allows for deep blacks and rich colors.
  2. It’s still brighter than the previous generation, so you’ll be able to see it outside in the sunlight.
  3. At 469 grams (1 lb.), it is extremely lightweight and easy to hold in one hand.
  4. With dimensions of 240mm x 163mm x 7.1mm, it also doesn’t take up much space either.
  5. It also has four stereo speakers on the top edge that give clear sound quality no matter which way you’re holding it.

Camera review

Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra has a 12 MP, f/1.7 aperture, OIS, and auto-HDR sensor, giving it the ability to take quality photos in any light condition. As for the front-facing camera, it’s 8 MP with an f/1.9 aperture which can take clear selfies at all times of the day.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra offers a fantastic value for those who need the processing power of a laptop in a portable package. It features an 8-inch Super AMOLED display that is vibrant and offers excellent clarity. While many tablets come with Micro USB connectors, the Samsung Tab 8 has the more widely accepted USB Type-C port on board.

Battery Life

It lasted 16 hours before it needed to be plugged in, which was pretty decent. I usually have my phone on me or at least charging if it’s close by when I’m doing school work, but a lot of the time, a power outlet is nowhere to be found. The battery life helped me not worry about forgetting to charge my device for a little while and also helped me get more accomplished than usual.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra

Performance and specs

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra is the latest, high-end Android Tablet on the market. It sports a sharp, crisp 8.4-inch Super AMOLED display with 16 million colors and 2560×1600 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1.6GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 and has 4GB of RAM. Its rear camera has a 13MP sensor while its front camera has a 5MP sensor.

With an integrated keyboard and its fast charging capabilities, this device is ideal for work or home use. However, a downside of the Samsung tablet is its weight of 1.75 pounds and 8-inch screen size which make it difficult to read for long periods. For watching videos on the go, this is an excellent choice as well as for its security features that can be set up with just a few taps on the screen.

Should I buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra?

If you’re looking for a tablet that offers a beautiful display and plenty of power then the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra is an excellent choice. It’s larger than the average smartphone and may be too bulky for those who plan to take it on the go, but if you need something big, this is one of your best options.

Buy it if…

If you’re looking for a new Android tablet to kick back with, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra is the best option for you. With powerful specs and an attractive design, it’s hard to go wrong with this device. Plus, it comes with Adobe Photoshop Express installed, so you’ll be ready to edit your photos from day one. This is great news for artists and photographers alike.

Don’t buy it if…

  1. Don’t buy this tablet if you want to watch movies and TV shows offline. The resolution isn’t high enough, even if the price is right.
  2. Don’t buy this tablet if you’re looking for a sleek, slim design. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra is bulky and the plastic back doesn’t feel premium at all.
  3. Don’t buy this tablet if you need a device with a sharp display.

  • Incredibly sleek
  • Lightweight
  • Powerful tablet
  • It has a great battery life with long-lasting

  • Lack of external storage options
  • No on-board USB ports
  • Cloud storage or SD card for your photos and music files

In the end, I found myself using the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra more than my laptop. The only drawback of this is that it has a fingerprint scanner on the back of the device and not on the home button. This means that whenever I am lying in bed, propped up against a pillow, I often have to re-position my hand so that it will read my finger and let me unlock the device. Another downside of the fingerprint sensor being on the back is that when you’re holding it with one hand and reading something, there’s always a chance that your thumb or pointer finger will accidentally press the sensor and turn off your screen. It also makes it difficult to use when you’re lying down in bed and want to browse social media without having to worry about accidentally turning off your screen.
